Ryan Miller
AAMS
FINANCIAL ADVISOR
The world deserves better financial planning, don’t you think? While the prevailing services offered at a traditional company focus on the fees they collect, so much of what you experience as an investor is neglected. Ryan wants to change that – by helping lost and ambitious individuals and leaders build fundamentally better strategies geared toward accumulating, preserving and passing on wealth.
A professional in investing, retirement and estate planning, Ryan has designed financial strategies for individuals, estates, trusts, retirement plans, companies and nonprofits alike. His experience is national in scope as well as diverse across industries and risk appetites. For Ryan, investing is being. It’s not just a discipline of financial planning; it’s the essence of who we are, with the possibility to inspire personal transformation along the journey.
Prior to founding Miller Financial Strategies, Ryan served as a financial advisor with Edward Jones for 10 years. His extensive background in investments began on Wall Street as an investment analyst working with institutional and individual investors. Ryan studied accounting at Bloomsburg University before going on to earn his bachelor’s degree in economics from Pace University. While at the latter university, Ryan was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international economics honor society.
Originally from Avis, Pennsylvania, Ryan and his wife, Jaclyn, make their home in Duboistown Heights with their children, Emory and Cooper. Ryan is an advisory chairman for the Kiwanis Club of Williamsport, Penn College and the Dick Logan Legacy Foundation. He is past president of the Northcentral Pennsylvania Estate Planners Council, as well as a member of the Williamsport Country Club, State College Quarterback Club, Penn State Wrestling Club and John F. Laedlein Lodge 707.
